DIGITALEUROPE, the leading trade association representing digitally transforming industries in Europe, stands for a regulatory environment that enables European businesses and citizens to prosper from digital technologies. With its members, DIGITALEUROPE shapes industrial policy positions on all relevant legislative matters and contributes to the development and implementation of relevant EU policies.

Its members of over 45,000 businesses, operating and investing in Europe, include 106 corporations which are global leaders in their own field, and 41 national trade associations.

Our contribution

to the Digital4Security project

DIGITALEUROPE leads Work Package 5, Dissemination & European Impact, overseeing project communication activities and ensuring their effectiveness through suitable channels. Additionally, DIGITALEUROPE helps identifying the skills needs of Corporates and SMEs, and actively participates in the Steering Committee.

Our mission

Our extensive experience in EU-funded projects encompasses a broad spectrum of digital policies, ranging from EU health initiatives to blockchain, skills and AI, with Security as one of the key horizontal issue across all these areas. With a successful track record in implementing projects under programs like Horizon, Digital Europe Programme, and Erasmus+, we have collaborated with partners from across Europe.

Our priority is to deepen our expertise and deliver enhanced outcomes. Within our participation in a wide range of policy, Cybersecurity holds particular importance, reflecting a key priority for our members. We actively engage in Cybersecurity task forces at the policy level and lead projects like the European Data Space for Skills and participate in the Data Space Support Centre.
