The €20m industry-led master’s is supported by funding from the DIGITAL Europe Programme. It will equip European SMEs and companies with a comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity management, regulatory and technical skills, helping to safeguard European industries from cyber attacks. This pan-European resilience will protect our economic prosperity, and support long-term competitiveness and growth.

Digital4Security is an international collaboration between 34 partners from 14 countries, united by a shared vision to fortify our digital spaces. We are a coalition of industry leaders, academic institutions, training and recruitment centres and marketing agencies. This huge international commitment and collaboration highlights the need for a greater collective response to the biggest challenge of the digital age.

Hybrid Programmes

The master program offers you pathways corresponding to 8 ECSF (European Cybersecurity Skills Framework) profiles in the field of cybersecurity, essential in the digital economy of the future. With its hybrid format it balances your existing professional career with a online and in-person activities, providing the foundation to build your future career in cybersecurity.

  • Offers practical, hands-on training through cyber ranges and real-world case studies, preparing students to effectively detect, respond to, and manage cyber threats
  • Gives you the opportunity to interact online with international staff and be part of in-person activities in the POLITEHNICA University campus
  • Elective modules allow participants to select specialized tracks aligned with one of the 8 ECSF profiles or to create a tailored learning pathway based on individual career goals and interests

 

Micro-credentials

A micro-credential offers a fast, focused way to gain in-demand skills without the time or cost of a full degree. It’s ideal for professionals who need to update or expand their expertise in a specific are while remaining active in the workforce. The Digital4Security project currently offers 2 types of products: a) a 2-year hybrid master program awarded by UPB; b) microcredential courses part of multiple delivery sessions throughout the year We are in the process of getting accreditation for a 1-year online master program.

English

It depends on the programme you are applying to. At minimum for all programmes, you are required to present a self-declaration of your proficiency in English. There are no other requirements to apply for a microcredential. For master programs you are required to present proof of completing a bachelor’s program in addition to the language requirements.

It depends on the awarding institution for the product: hybrid master program, online master program, microcredentials. See the answer in the section corresponding to each product.

People with interest in IT, cybersecurity and cybersecurity management, but not necessarily with technical background.
