Digital4Security launches Diversity and Inclusion Board to enhance cybersecurity education!
In its mission to equip European businesses—particularly SMEs—with the critical skills needed to ensure a secure digital future for all, Digital4Security proudly announces the establishment of its Diversity and Inclusion Board (DIB). It is dedicated to ensuring equality, gender balance, and impartiality in student admissions. This board will provide an additional layer of strategic guidance, fostering a learning environment that values and promotes diversity.
Why is this important?
In the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity, diversity and inclusion are critical. A diverse team brings a variety of perspectives, experiences, and problem-solving approaches, which are essential in addressing complex cybersecurity challenges. By promoting diversity and inclusion, Digital4Security aims to create a more robust and innovative cybersecurity workforce that can better protect Europe’s digital infrastructure.
The board aims to:
- Provide strategic guidance to ensure equality and gender balance within the program.

How to become a member
To be a member of the board, applicants must:
- Be domain experts from industry or academia.
- Have previous experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Be willing to contribute to the creation of a sustainable and inclusive pan-European master’s program in cybersecurity.
