This month, members of the Digital4Security consortium, including representatives from Matrix Internet and #CyberMadeInPoland, were actively engaged in the CYBERSEC Forum 2024 in Kraków, Poland. As the leading cybersecurity event in Europe, CYBERSEC Forum provides an unparalleled platform for discussing and addressing the most pressing cybersecurity issues and innovations.

Digital4Security’s Presence and Contributions

Key Highlights of the CYBERSEC Forum 2024:

1. Strategic Discussions and High-Level Speakers The forum featured influential figures such as the Polish Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Digital Affairs. Discussions covered crucial topics including threat intelligence sharing, the creation of European cybersecurity unicorns, and strategies to bridge the cybersecurity skills gap​ (CYBERSEC CEE EXPO & FORUM 2024)​​ 
2. Emerging Technologies and AI Sessions on AI’s role in digital defence strategies highlighted the critical role of advanced technologies in cybersecurity. One notable presentation, “Understanding and Hacking AI in 2024,” focused on leveraging AI to counteract cyber threats​ 
3. Cybersecurity in Outer Space Exploring cybersecurity beyond traditional domains, the forum also addressed the challenges and opportunities in securing outer space operations, reflecting the broad scope of current cyber threats​ 
4. Support for Ukraine and Regional Collaboration Discussions also emphasized the importance of aiding Ukraine’s digital reconstruction and enhancing NATO’s cybersecurity posture, aligning with our goals to foster regional security and resilience​ 
5. Innovation Hub and EXPO The EXPO showcased the latest cybersecurity products and solutions from across Europe, reinforcing the theme “Bridging European Cybersecurity Markets” and highlighting innovative approaches to cybersecurity​ 

Spotlight on the Digital4Security Master’s Programme

The forum also served as an excellent platform to promote the Digital4Security Master’s Programme in Cybersecurity Management and Data Sovereignty. This innovative program aims to equip European SMEs and companies with the necessary skills to address and mitigate cybersecurity threats. The Master’s programme is designed to bridge the skills gap and ensure that businesses have access to well-trained cybersecurity professionals.
